Can I use the my windows mobile phone and the Bluetooth on my Ipod touch to connect to the internet?

I have an Ipod Touch and an HTC touch Diamond with sprint Unlimited everything plan. I am trying to use the Bluetooth on both devices to connect the Ipod to the internet using the wireless transmission from my phones Bluetooth. Just wondering if it will work or i am just wasting my time.
