Categories app messed up my iPod. What should I do?

So I downloaded categories app on my jailbroken iPod and organized my springboard. But when I restarted, the folder with the categories app and all of my other settings and tools (like settings and winterboard) was missing. I already tried installing and unistalling but it didn’t work. I really don’t want restore and rejailbrake. If it helps I’m running on the 3.0 firmware.
