How come my iphone doesnt have service? can i recover my datas from my sim card?

Btw, I paid my bill but for some reason today my phone cannot send or call. It keeps showing searching on the top left and saying no service. What is wrong? Someone told me to back it up and restore factory setting which I did. But now everything is gone. Stupid Itunes didn’t sync it right. Does any know what to do? And is there a way to recover my photos and datas from my sim card?
Please help!
Insidious – I couldn’t cuz my phone is unable to make calls or text. ;(
