iPhone instant messaging apps?

Whats a good universal i/m app? I use msn and aim, id like to have it keep me logged in 24/7 so I can receive push notifications. Ive been looking for a while now, I like eBuddy but it seems like there should be something better out there. Thanks and if theres any other networking apps out there that you would recommend let me know :)
