Is the iPhone better than the Blackberry Curve 8900?

NOT the iPhone 3gs, but the iPhone, so Apple's original version. I'm 14 years old, and I'm not sure which phone is right for me ? And, the iPhone is £342, and Blackberry Curve 8900 is also £350, but i don't want to get a phone for the sake of it, so which phone is better ? :) PLEASE PLEASE HELp, i really want one before Christmas, preferably this weekend, thank you very much :)
