Jailbreaking an iphone 3g?

I wanna know an easy and free way to jailbreak the iphone 3g with the latest software. Im not the best with electronics but i am tired of apple raping me 99 cents at a time with app that dont work the way they say or that dont even work at all...if someone could instruct me on how to do this correctly i would be tickled shitless. All the sites ive tried have confusing instructions for my nonexistent hacker skills.
