.AVI to IPHONE converter!?

i have an iphone 2g 16gig and i need to get some videos onto it ive downloaded videora, and the option to convert it to 2g iphone doesnt work it converts it but doesnt show up onto my itunes. anyone know of a fail safe converter or which option on videora would be right for me?
