BlackBerry Bold or BlackBerry Curve 8900?

I understand that the Bold has 3g and the Curve does not, but where I live there isn't much 3g around. Is it really worth getting the Bold with 3g even if there is not much 3g? Or should I go with the Curve? Also I have wifi. Or is there any other BlackBerry that you would recomend? I already have an iPod touch so I don't really want and iPhone.
