Blackberry doesn’t receive texts sent from iPhone until the next day.?

When I send my sister a text message from my iPhone 3G (she has a blackberry: from nextel) she doesn't receive my texts until the next day or never. But when others text her she gets them right away. Is there anything we can do to fix this?
