I went to the verizon store yesterday with the intention of buying a storm. I really like the phone and it has really nice features and basically i was completely set and was excited to buy it. When i went to the verizon rep he told me the storm is a bad phone. He said it has a 60% return rate from unhappy customers, it has bugs and it freezes, it's slow, etc. Now i don't know what to do. I really like the phone and i don't really like the other verizon blackberries.
so, are the things the rep told true? is the storm really that slow and buggy, he said its a headache and i would just return it. or should i buy it and wait for an OS update, if there is one coming for download soon. he also told me new blackberries would be out next month, which i am kinda doubting b/c i didnt find anything about new blackberries on the internet and it has only been a few months since the release of the storm is the curve a good alternative to the storm (i intended to use the storm as i would and iphone if i were on at&t, for the internet access, youtube videos, music play back, videos, pics, maybe some games and use of apps) can the curve 8330 do those things nicely? thanks
