Bluetooth 4 Ipod Touch to get internet access?

I'm having trouble to work out how to get internet access on an ipod touch if i get one, but when I found out that an Iphone 3.0 Software update is being released and is Bluetooth compatible. I want to update it to get the bluetooth features on an Ipod Touch 2nd Generation. My question is: If I connect/pair up an Ipod Touch with Bluetooth capabilities to a compatible Bluetooth laptop, that is connected to the internet by Ethernet cables, will I get be able to get internet access on my Ipod Touch? Thanks for your time.

Your best bet would be to install a wireless adapter in your laptop and bridge the LAN connection to the WiFi connection. That would allow you to use your Itouch faster then connecting to the laptop with bluetooth

No. Because of the large amounts of data that flow back and forth between your internet connection and device connected to the internet, you can not use the internet through bluetooth.
