If you have a Windows 7 computer you can do this. Connect to pdanet as usual, then google connectify. Its a program that broadcasts a wifi signal using another internet source. In connectify, change internet source to pdanet modem and boom! but It wont connect to playstation network after the trial b/c im assuming its an https site.

the reason you cannot connect using this method is because your ps3, PSP requires the network in infrastructure mode, psp for example, uses ad-hoc mode to communicate with other psp’s, and the software will not communicate in infrastructure mode.
It can probablt be worked around, but i don’t have the technical knowledge to even begin figuring this out.

I was trying to do the same thing. I believe this does not work because the PS3 Does not support Ad-hoc networks.

Ps3 needs an access point to obtain internet, like wifi or wired connection. That’s what I’ve learned thus far.
