how do i sync ringtones/songs/videos/apps onto my iPhone 3g?

hey guys, i'm new to this whole iTunes/iPhone thing. so i've been reading other people's questions and answers and they all say to "sync" whatever i need onto my iPhone. well, i've already bought the songs i want on my phone, i bought a bunch of apps that i need, gotten a few videos, and i've already made a ringtone that i've purchased from iTunes, but i have no idea how to sync the damn thing... help?
