HOW TO TRACK AN IPHONE 3G?

hi,i have an iphone 3g and over the past years ive had bad luck and have gotten my phones stolen alot...is there any program i can download on the iphone 3g so that if it gets stolen i know where it goes(track it). PLEASE ONLY ANSWER THE QESTION IF U R SERIOUS(NO JOKES)
