Iphone 3G 3.0 Jailbreak wont install 3rd party applications!?

I used Pwnage tool to JB my iPhone 3g which works just fine but I can't get iTunes to install JB apps onto my phone! Pwnage installed Cydia and Icy already which is meant to support 3rd part app features - obviously it doesn't! Im hesitant to use redsn0w because I know for sure that Pwnage works... Any help would be great!!

I too had this same problem. But after a re-jailbreaking it worked for me.
