Iphone 3g volume keys…?

I got an iphone 3g 16gb, and when I press the volume keys it shows the volume but in "headphones".....even when the headphones are not plugged in it still shows the ringer (headphones)....I still have apple warranty till august so should I go to the apple store and they give me a new one or what? nevermind...i restored it and it worked fine..dam it i wanted to get a new one lol
