iphone vs g1 vs sidekick lx09?

ok so i need a new phone but i dont know what to choose. the iphone almost won but then i hear it doesnt send multimedia! what?!? the g1 is good but there are too many risks with the applications because they dont have to be approved. the sidekick lx o9 has video recording, unlike the others and yu can send media through bluetooth or as a multimedia message. it just isnt touch screen =/. what would you get?
