If you want the Iphone I strongly suggest you should get it with AT&T. The Iphone works the best with them and the internet is very fast. You are able to view web pages in the HTML version (the same way it looks like it does on the computer) That it very good. The phone does NOT have Adobe Flash Player but has Java script. Not many pages require Adobe Flash so its not very bad. If you are like me and need AIM on ur phone Iphone is not the best choice though. Meebo mobile works on it but the touchscreen keyboard gets really annoying at times.

The Sidekick LX 2009 is a nice upgrade from the previous sidekicks. The phone has upgraded to a 4g network. The AIM on this phone works very similar to the previous sidekicks. The keyboard on the sidekick is a very big plus for me. I really like the way it looks and the Orchud Red color it comes in. However besides the aim on the phone it’s actually not a good phone. It has a mobile internet with NO javascript nor Flash Player. The mobile internet gets irritationg because not every page opens and the ones that do look completely diffrent from the way you view them off of your computer. The Phone itself isnt as fast as the iphone or the plam pre. This phone might not be great but is the BEST for AIM.

The Plam Pre. I just recieved this phone from sprint. WOw this is such an upgrade from my old Samsung Instinct. This phone is also VERY similar to the iphone. The way you zoom in is the same as the iphone. You put two fingers on the screen and separated them. The Touch Screen On this phone is extreamly sensitive which is good. There is a slide out QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard isnt any competition to the sidekick’s. The Pre’s keyboard is very tiny and close together. It’s good for some1 with very small fingers or a child. Well since I have tiny fingers the phone’s keyboard is not so bad. The internet on the phone is HTML version. You can view webpages in the same way you see them on your computer. The phone does support Flash Player allowing you to go on sites such as meebo (for AIM). I do not reccoment meebo though for aim because there is no way to send your IM to a buddy because the Palm Pre’s keyboard does not have an enter button and the meebo chat doesn’t have an eneter button either. No phone in the world right now supports Adobe Flash player. However! Adobe FLash Player Announced on February 16th that they will be supporting phones that run on a webOS platform. At this time, the only phone on this platfrom is the Palm Pre. At around the same time the phone becomes Flash capabile it will also become 4g ! the first phone ever with a 4g network will be the Palm Pre. This means that all the functions on the phone will become 25 percent faster ! and right now on the 3g network, the Palm Pre is already as fast as the Iphone! The Plam Pre is the best phone on the market now. It is the one of the fastest phones i have ever had and with its 4g upgrade it will be faster.

Now COmparing All 3 phones the Iphone the Palm Pre and the Sidekick LX 2009. I think the first thing i would do is elliminate the Iphone choice. The Palm Pre is just like the Iphone but better. So now we’re left with the Palm Pre and Sidekick 2009. In my opinion even though i’m on AIM 24/7 I would still go with the Palm Pre over the Sidekick. The Palm Pre is a much better phone in all areas.

-HTML internet

Just because i’m saying the Pre is better then the sidekick i’m not saying that you have to give up AIM if you dont get a sidekick. There are a few great AIM apps on the Palm Pre.
In the Application menu the bubble that says messaging allows you to sign onto aim.
There is also offcourse other ways like:
http://www.AOLMAIL.com which when you sign in to check your mail your AIM also pops up.
And now that Flash Player is coming soon. You will be able to go on http://www.AIMEXPRESS.com

On all 3 of those ways to acess your AIM, you DO NOT show up as mobile on Your Palm Pre. You are also able to change your status, add a buddy, block buddies, go invisible etc.

So now after all this I strongly Suggest the PAlm Pre.

while the palm pre is a very nice phone I think iphone 3gs is still better because it has voice control which is good when u are in a car and don’t have time to dial a number. Also the video editing is pretty cool. no matter what people say iphone is the best to me.
