Is the Blackberry Curve a good phone?

I'm 14, and I know that Blackberry's are more aimed for adults and business people, however, I've noticed they're starting to make it more teen-friendly by having an app store like the iPhone and G1. I'm always on facebook, myspace, and twitter and there are apps for that, which is the main reason I want it. I currently have the LG Dare, and I love it, but touch screens get annoying after a while, and it's terrible in the sunlight! So is the Blackberry Curve from verizon a good phone for me? What I use cell phones for the most: - Texting - IMing - (I would use it for) Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter Call quality isn't that big of a deal for me, seeing how I don't get enough service at my house to make a phone call anyway. So tell me your opinions. :] I have a job, kinda. and I'd have to pay the 30 dollars a month.
