Locked Iphone 1st gen. PLEASE HELP!!!!?

Hey guys I own a 1st generation iPhone. IT IS NOT REGISTERED ON ITUNES BECAUSE I DON’T NOT WANT TO PAY THE $30 EVERY MONTH. I had it jailbroken before using Quickpwn and using the 2.2.1 firmware. Last night I upgraded my iPhone to get the 3.0 fimware now my iPhone is locked. I currently have the iTunes 8.2 version installed and I have the QuickPwn 3.0 and the 3.0 BETA firmware. everything works except when it comes to where it says waiting for iPhone to connect to recovery mode. It is stuck on that part. I’ve left it like that for over an hour and nothing is happening. PLEASE HELPPPPP!! I really need my iPhone to be fixed because I use it for a lot of things and my life is not running smoothly without it! THANKS!
