My iPhone 2G’s touch screen is not working.?

I just dropped it, and now the touch screen isn't working. All the other functions (volume rockers, home button, power button) are working. I am restoring it right now but if that doesn't work, do you guys have any sugestions?

You have destroyed the LCD screen. It’s worhless unless you buy a new LCD
