My Iphone screen went black. Now it won’t turn back on. HELP!!?

I’ve had this iphone for about a month now. I did not encounter any thing like this before. I set it on vibrate, and then put it on my table. So, it simply won’t turn back on? Any suggestions? P.S.: It vibrates whenever somebody calls. It just does not show the screen or anything.

    Hold down the power and sleep button at the same time for 10 seconds, the apple sign will show up and your phone will reset bringing up the screen :) all fixed!

    I was freaking out cause i locked mine and it wouldnt do anything, including a hard reboot. I youtubed this video and thought the kid was dumb as all hell…this couldnt possibly work…and of course it did. lol.

    plug your phone in while holding the home button. keep in in the charger for two seconds. remove the charger, cont to hold the home button. put it back on for 5 seconds. and then try a hard reboot.

    for whatever reason… it did the trick.

    hey my iphone screen started turning white the went black after about 30 mins.. i tried holding the sleep and home buttton for ten secs but nothing happened it still makes noise and stuff but my screen is black… help me please!!

    OMG! I was sitting at a friends and all the sudden the screen went black and NOTHING would make it turn on. I was so freaked out! I tried this and it worked like a freaking charm. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! :)

    make a note of this…. it works and i would never have known to do this. my iphone just shut off and was black and dead. i thought it was dead forever. holding these two buttons for 10 secs did it. who would know this????

    My phone still won’t turn on, I’ve done the ten second thing, and the reboot thing but nothing seems to work. It vibrates when people call/text me but it won’t completely turn on.

    mine did the same thing! and right now it did it again. the last time it unfroze withing a couple minutes, but right now it isnt doing anything! if u found a solution plz post.

    thank you soooo much. it was weird cause i could hear text message beeps and when it rung…but i could see anything but black…. now that i held down the two buttons…. i just see the apple symbol… its not doing anything. :-(

    BECKY I LOVE YOU my phone was black screened for 3 hours…i held down the power and home button so many times but when i read this i thought idtry it again and actually count to 10…. IT WORKED IM SO THANKFUL
