unlocked iphone 2g help? frozen screen/apps?

I recently downloaded an app on my unlocked iphone 2g, it was called vWallpaper, it seemed to be messing up my phone by making it freeze, so i deleted it, and now my home screen wont scroll to let me view my 2nd page of apps, and when i try and open an app it will either open it in like 3 minutes, or it wont open at all, ive found that screen shot-ing it by pressing the sleep and home button will make it load somewhat faster, but i really dont know what to do :/ it's really upsetting, ive tried turning it off and on, and ive tried resetting it by holding the home and sleep button :/
