Whats better Iphone or Blackberry Storm/curve?

I'm getting one for a gift but I have no Idea which one to choose. I don't need to use it for work much. Most of my Friends have the Iphone so I wanted the Blackberry to be different but I don't want to get it and be disappointed. What are the Pros and Cons of the two products and which one is better? **I'm pretty much going to be using it for obviously talking lol, alot of texting, music downloads, minimal email checking, browsing the web, and random pic takings.**
