  1. For directions and good walks you could try

    http://www.iFootpath.com

You can view and download walks to your iPhione that provide directions and photographs of the route plus interesting facts.

The website and App are being developed to add GPS tracking.

You can also create your own walks on the website with a GPS/GPX file which you upload.

There are walks for Derbyshire, Suffolk, Berkshire, surrey, etc.

The iPhone App is currently free.

I think Walkmeter GPS and Runmeter GPS for iPhone (3G, 3Gs, 4G) is great.
Tracks your distance and has a stopwatch function. Logs each workout and even creates maps for you that show your distance that can be saved for future workouts. Currently $4.99 at iTunes app store. The only thing I can’t figure out is how to track Pace.
    Good luck!

I use runkeeper. But I dont believe it tells me locations of stores. But there are a few others that I know of. WalkScore tells you locations distance and directions. Pin points their location. Shows a gps map like the default gps system on the iphone. I think google earth does something simular. But thats has just been told to me. Hope this helps.
