I bought the iPhone 3GS from someone from Kijiji. It was running 3.1.2 and it was jailbroken and unlocked, when I reset the network settings, it was in a constant loop of turning on and showing the Apple logo then turning off. So I tried restoring it and halfway it stopped and showed me the dfu mode. When I connect to itunes, I put in my sim card and it says its not an eligible sim card. I don't know what carrier it is locked to but I would defenitely want to use it without jailbreak at least. Should I go to the Apple Store for them to restore or is there another way?

well i cant find my ipod touch in my own house and i was wondering if i can see if its connected to my wifi , i checked before but the name of the device said unknown , could that be my ipod?

I have been flustered. namely becuase of deep inside reviews I have read from critics whom playyed with both. and I must say that maybe I want an itouch. Sure I'm sacrificing good oled quality I still will have a beautiful itouch screen with very decent video and of course a ton of things to do. The apps are a plus but not a big deal. But I heard the internet browser is not as good as on the zunehd as it is on the itouch. I playyed with an itouch before and was frankly amazed by its speed. The zunehd I playyed with but have not tried the internet part. please someone. enlighten me. All in all wich makes a better media device and I don't just mean video quality. I already know the ZuneHD's insane but I've had several thoughts after microsoft proved their lost of interest over the Zune. I heard the audio is only slightly better on the zunehd but more or less the same. not important. the itouch seems to have enough great video quality anyway. this question goes out to people that has the both. is the explorer browser really better?

Yesterday i went to slide and unlock it once the keypad came up it was unresponsive to my touch, i was like what the hell, so it went back into sleep mode and then i tried to do it again the screen came up to slide and unlock again its unresponsive to my touch. idk what to do its been like this for a day, i cant turn it off and then back on cause the power off button is broke, any tips???

that cost under $250 and no contract like the iphone other wise a gadget like, ipod touch, iphone,
some kind of mini internet browser gadget.
something with which u can go online, chat, video, music, DOWNLOAD game (not preset games) the possibility to buy games for it and not be limited to some crappy tetris or smthg, camera, and other stuff, it doesnt have to do all of those but in that direction type of gadget.
