PLease HELP I BROKE MY JAIL BROKEN IPOD TOUCH?

Ok….I broke my Ipod touch a good 6 months ago….I don’t remember if I restored it…The Ipod touch is completely Broken It wont turn on at all..I think The Battery in the Ipod is Broken…Lets say that I never restored it and It is jail broken…Can they Fine out?…(I have the one year apple warranty) And if they do find out and the warranty voids how much will it cost to repair…..Should I break the Ipod more just in case (dropping it a million times on purpose?) should I stick a knife up the charging thing. to make it in-reparable……. or can they not even know that it was jail broken(because I think they will fix it and then check) Anyone have experience of this happening? please Please help easy 10 points everyone write down answers!
