When I'm at school and I try to connect to the Internet with my iPod touch it says that unable to connect even if I don't need a password, my friend did random things to his iPod touch and then was able to connect to the Internet so I know it is possible but I can't find out what to do please help me

I bought the phone from a friend about a month ago. He told me it had some water damage (evidently water sensor is pink/red). Everything worked perfectly when I bought it. About a week ago the screen just went dead. The phone still turns on and everything works properly except the screen. I've tried restoring it and restarting the iPhone and nothing. I've been looking for some places that sell iPhone screens but they sell pieces that work when the screen is cracked. Mine is completely black, you cant see anything. Any help on what to do or links to sites that sell screens for dead screens? Thanks.

How can you get free internet and e-mail usage. Do only unlocked/jailbroken cellphones have this?
With an unlocked iphone you can use some apps for free. Are there other phones that are similar?

my friend tried to jailbrake my ipod touch, but it didn't work. then i had to restore it and all my stuff is gone. the apps i had,im syncing them right now. the ones i recently bought are not on there though. also, when i tried to reinstall an app i bought, it bought it again. please help!?

I don't know much about iPhones, but I am savvy with electronics so I was trying to help a friend and when I plugged in his iPhone is CHANGED OPERATING SYSTEMS?!? It now thinks it is an HTC and is running Windows Mobile 6.1. It seems iTunes will restore the iPhone except for some reason iTunes doesn't even recognize the device. When I plug it in via USB it just opens an explorer folder and doesn't show in iTunes (iTunes is up to date). Also, holding sleep and home will power cycle the phone and the apple icon appears, but then the device still loads the Windows OS. If anyone has any suggestions of how to restore the device to factory or get the previous operating system back we'd appreciate the help... Thanks!

Why does my itouch only play certain files? My friend sent me a video via email and changed the format to the apple settings and it still doesn't work. She put it on YouTube too and my iPod won let me watch it. Why? And how do I fix it?
