I own an iPod Touch 3g (32gb) running 3.1.2 firmware. And I was wondering how I can spoof my mac address so I can get past a mac address filter. So far I've tried these solutions, and none have worked : 1. Using Mobile Terminal I did this :
su root
alpine
ifconfig (find my ether)
ifconfig en0 ether 00:00:00:00:00:00 ( I have tried many other combination's of numbers/letters )
ifconfig ( didn't work, it still gave my same mac address )
ifconfig en0 lladdr 00:00:00:00:00:00 ( With the same results as the prior ) 2. Tried macspoof, didn't work. I could literally type anything in and it would say successful. 3. I tried to download SpoofMac Script, but when I installed it, there was no app icon on my main menu... So it didn't install. So in conclusion, is there a way to spoof my iTouch's mac address? And if so how? If not how can I bypass the mac address filter of the unsecured network I'm trying to access, without messing with the access list. ~ Thanks to all in advance

I am looking at getting a Blackberry Bold. Will it sync contact groups from my Mac's Address Book? E.G. If I have a Family group and a Football group in my Address Book on my Mac...Will they appear on my Blackberry?
Also, I'm not getting an iPhone as I can't get the right contract etc
