I can’t restore my iPhone from a backup?

My phone was jailbroken and I wanted to update it to IOS6. I backed it up and then restored it from the backup to unjailbreak it. When it was done restoring, I got an error message saying that it couldn’t be restored from the back up. Also, I can’t find the location of ANY of my iPhone backups. I’ve already searched online and found specific directory locations but my computer says that the location doesn’t exist. I NEED MY TEXT MESSAGES BACK. Can anyone help me?

so i turned out “imessage” and i can send a picture message to people with iphones, itouches,ext. (the blue messaging)

but when i am texting another reg. phone the camera icon is greyed out, (unclickable)
(the green messaging)

AND NO, WHEN I GO TO SETTINGS AND MESSAGES I DONT NOT HAVE AN OPTION TO TURN MMS ON AND OFF

Twitter app on iPhone not loading anything?

My –official– twitter app isn’t loading anything. Not my Direct Messages, Mentions or Interactions, Timeline, Profile. Nothing.
I’ve been into settings and deleted and re added the account. Didn’t work. Someone please help me?

My iPod touch doesn’t repeat alerts in iOS 5?

My iPod happens not to ever repeat alerts for my iMessages/text messages and it’s annoying because no matter how loud I have my ringtone, I still miss my iMessage when I’m asleep. The thing is, I want to be reachable to anyone. That’s why I want my iPod to repeat my iMessage alerts. Currently, in Settings > Notifications > Messages > Repeat Alert set to 10 times. It never repeats the notification. It just happens not to do so. And I know I’ve freshly restored my device a few weeks ago, so restoring won’t work. My iPod touch is on iOS 5.1.1, iPod touch 4th Generation (White).

As many people who want it off, I’m one of the people who need this to be enabled. Is there a jailbreak tweak to fix this or is there just a solution to get the alerts repeating for once? They’ve never been repeated before.

How do i fix my Iphone 3 The middle portion of the screen doesnt work?

I have a Iphone 3g and the middle strip of the screen doesn’t work ( the touch doesn’t work in the middle)
It makes it hard for me because when I use “Messages” when the screen is horizontal the G and V buttons don’t work and when its vertical the send button doesn’t work

Why does my iPhone screen become uncalibrated when I charge it?

Whenever I charge my iPhone, you can’t do anything on the screen. So, if you click mail, it’ll think your clicking on Messages or somewhere else on the screen. Is this an Apple safety mechanism or is there something wrong with my iPhone? I have the 3GS if it helps.

I updated my IPhone to IOS 5 but it doesnt have iMessage. When I go to settings>Messages, it doesnt have the “turn on iMessage” thing. Why is it missing? Where is IMessage?

How can I send texts to non-ios devices with messages app on iPad?

I just recently started to use the Messages app on my iPad 2, and it is much more convenient than the other apps that I’ve used. The main issue, is that I can’t send messages from my iPad to anything other than people with iPhones or iPods.
I noticed that on my moms iPhone, she is able to text anybody that she wants to, including my regular cell phone that isn’t iOS oriented.
Now my question is, how can I make my iPad send messages to anybody, just like the iPhone can?

iPhone 4S Messaging Notification?

When I got my 4S, somehow, I changed it to only showing “Jane Doe: Text Message” when my screen was locked. I reset my settings, and I want to change it back to that. I don’t want it to show the text in my lock screen. I went to Settings > Notifications > Messages, and I turned “View in Lock Screen Off”, but when I do that, now it won’t even notify me if I get a text while my phone is locked. I don’t want it to show the whole text, but I want it to just notify. I had it like this before I reset my settings, and I can’t remember how to do it.
