I have been flustered. namely becuase of deep inside reviews I have read from critics whom playyed with both. and I must say that maybe I want an itouch. Sure I'm sacrificing good oled quality I still will have a beautiful itouch screen with very decent video and of course a ton of things to do. The apps are a plus but not a big deal. But I heard the internet browser is not as good as on the zunehd as it is on the itouch. I playyed with an itouch before and was frankly amazed by its speed. The zunehd I playyed with but have not tried the internet part. please someone. enlighten me. All in all wich makes a better media device and I don't just mean video quality. I already know the ZuneHD's insane but I've had several thoughts after microsoft proved their lost of interest over the Zune. I heard the audio is only slightly better on the zunehd but more or less the same. not important. the itouch seems to have enough great video quality anyway. this question goes out to people that has the both. is the explorer browser really better?

i found a blackberry for 10 bucks. I was going to get an iphone, but they are 100 bucks. so i was interested to find out if you can play a good many games on a blackberry and how good are they.

I found a cheap blackberry that i like. the prob is, my job gives me a lot of down time, and i want a phone that i can play games on and also have access to the web. can you play games on a blackberry as easily as you can on an iphone, or is it hard to get decent games on a blackberry. and also what quality are those games. i want good games. so i need to know if getting the blackberry would be good or do i need to spend the extra on an iphone

I am wanting a good quality case for my 5800. I want it to have like a plastic screen protector that is fixed into the case rather than stick-on screen protectors.. if you get my drift?? You can get them for different phones and can get them for iPod Touch and iPhone. Does anyone know what i mean and happen to own one? Can anyone recommend a specific one??

Hello everyone. I have decided to buy myself a super-smartphone. The problem is, I live in India. The iPhone 3GS is not available (legally) in India. It is not even launched here. What I need, in order of priority: Web browsing on the move, solid build quality, reliable OS, Facebook, Exchange email, a few games. Now considering the 3GS is not available in India, here are my options. Please suggest the next best one. 1. iPhone 3G: This is an outdated phone, and available only with Airtel. It is NOT a subsidized price like in other countries. The 8GB is close to Rs.30000 (USD $650). Airtel does not have 3G network, so I will be stuck with EDGE browsing. I may be wrong, but I think the 8GB iPhone 3G is too expensive at $650, especially as it will be locked to Airtel. Also, there is virtually no Apple support here, so I am not sure what will happen if the battery dies out. 2. iPhone 3GS from US, unlocked and jailbroken. That will set me off by around $550 to $600, but I will have the best phone in the world. On the flip side, it will be illegal, and if the battery dies out, it will just become a brick. Somehow I am not excited about paying such a huge amount to do something illegal. But I guess it is an option, in a sense. 3. HTC Hero: Costs Rs.30000 ($650) with no carrier lock. I read a lot of reviews and watched YouTube videos about this one. While almost everything I hear about it is positive, people do report that it is sluggish at times. I am tempted to buy this, but not sure how reliable the HTC hardware is. HTC too has hardly any support in India, so I need reliable hardware and good build quality. I am tempted to just go for the Hero, but thinking, is the iPhone 3G still better than the Hero? I know it has only 128MB RAM vs the Hero's 288 MB, but I guess there are a lot of factors other than that. Please provide your suggestions. Note: 1. Motorola Droid, Palm Pre, Droid Eris are not available in India.
2. The myTouch is available, but it costs almost as much as the Hero, it is locked to Airtel and they are selling it without the Market app. I am not interested in rooting my phone etc.
3. I am not interested in Windows Mobile, as I already have a Herald and the experience with it has been infuriating.
4. I know 2010 will see many new phones, but they will take a year or years to reach India. So I figure it makes sense to buy the best phone available now, and then upgrade later maybe after 2 or 3 years.

I have an iPod touch and I really want a screen protecter. I really don't know how to apply one right and my application jobs don't satisfy me and the bubbles really bug me. Is there a way to satisfy my need. Can I go to a store and get it done with the quality satisfying the above requests? I don't want the wreck the screen either. Please help me and my perfectionism.

I have an ipod touch and i like watching a lot of movies off of it. I want to use the least ammount of space while still having decent quality. I use a video converter called "any video converter" which can convert any video file to the desired format. I have been using mpeg-4 with about a video bitrate of 768 kbps and an audio bitrate of 128 kbps. I have been putting the frame size at 320 x 240.
These video files are still taking up quite a bit of space. What do you recommend for these settings and should i use something other than mpeg-4?
also do you know of any good free video converters? (the one i use is really slow)
