Just got an Iphone and I need help with ring tones and apps?
brand new 3gs 16 gig. I previously had a Blackberry 8330 and you had to close out of the apps when you were done with them or else they would keep running the background, killing battery life. Is that the same with iphone and if so how do you do that? Another question I have is that I want to use what I already have in mp3s to make rings tones, I saw this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATux0htpj6U I did everything it says but when I clip the songs into 15 seconds and the process of renaming and all that, when I put it back in and it shows up in the ringtone folder, it is much longer than the 15 seconds i cut it down to be. I downloaded 2 ringtones from iTunes. I had them set as ringtones for individual contacts. I also downloaded one that was for all other calls. Both were songs. When my phone rings now, it is a factory ring. I looked in all the places I could think of on my phones and my computer and can't find them. I synced. No luck. I went to iTunes to purchase and, of course, it gives me a warning that I've already purchased that ring tone. I could spend the $1.29 for the ringtone again, but where did they go? I just got my Ipod Touch , I downloaded Fring and I am able to call anyone, anywhere. Which for me, works out pretty well because my parent won't let me have a phone. I am trying to figure out if my friends would be able to call me using Fring. If I give them my number from Fring and they would call me, would my Ipod Touch ring ? and would I be able to answer ? please help ASAP thank you .
