iPhone stuck in Portrait View when I turn it sideways?
All of a sudden I cannot get the landscape (wider aspect ratio for the web browser) view on my iphone when I turn it sideways is there a way to fix this? I've already turned it off and on several times. Thanks! Read or Add Answers...How to Sync iPhone with PalmPilot?
I have been using PalmPilot for a number of years, primarily list of contacts (over 5,000 entries) and calendar (for all appointments and tasks), and I like it a lot. Recently I got an iPhone and would like to be able to exchange and sync data between iPhone and PalmPilot. I trust PalmPilot as the safest depository of data/contacts/calendar (compared with mobile phones that tend to have lots of bugs in the software). Also, I tend to change cell phones often enough, but I always keep my PalmPilot, so it is easier for me to treat it as the main source of data, as otherwise I would need to migrate my data every year or so to a new mobile device with a different operating system, which is a pain. Ideally, I would want to establish an ongoing 3-way sync: PalmPilot Handhelp <-> PalmPilot Desktop <-> iPhone handhelp. I already do PalmPilot Handheld <-> PalmPilot desktop sync several times per day. Is there a way to get iPhone to sync with PalmPilot desktop regularly, without messing up the capability to sync PalmPilot handheld with PalmPilot desktop at the same time? So this just started today. I tried to load Cydia and it loaded (further than "Loading Data") and I wasn't paying attention but then it crashed whilst refreshing sources. Now if I load up Cydia it pops up with "Loading Data" then just closes. I have no idea why. Please help me, I have resprung several times and rebooted but nothing helps.. I know this question has been asked several times, but mines a bit different. My wifi DOES have a password, but instead of asking me for the password, it goes straight to "Unable to join the network". I have restarted the phone, unplugged & plugged the wifi back in, AND restored the phone. No difference. (I might add this phone is a replacement for my old one that Apple sent me. Most likely refurbished... does this have anything to do with my problem?) I've checked my iphone software (firmware) and it is up to date. I have a 16 gig iPhone 3G already updated to 3.1.2 and I am running windows xp. I’ve downloaded Blackra1n and I’ve tried to run it several times. At the point where the phone goes into recovery mode and shuts down it powers up to the iTunes screen (the one with the iTunes icon and usb plug), not the GeoHot screen that should be displayed. I’ve had to restore my phone at least a dozen times and I always get the same screen. Could someone PLEASE tell me what I’m doing wrong? I’ve tried every walk-through I can find and none of them work.

I got a 2g iphone on 3.0.1 firmware. im using redsnow to unlock it. but everytime im following the steps it keep getting stuck at “waiting to reboot” i know im doing everything right cause i have done this several times on another computer and it works just fine. so could it be something wrong with my computer or what. i mean i have all the correct files and step. but it keep getting stuck at “waiting to reboot” stage….any suggestions??
