I want to be able to switch the following features on/off without going through the different settings menu for each feature. Tethering
3G
WIFI
Airplane
Bluetooth
and Others.
I recently Jail broke My phone and and i installed MyWi and i love it. My Question is “Since i began using Tethering as a large source of my internet usage, my iPhone data usage has skyrocketed. Does AT&T care enough at this point to see this and realize something’s wrong or do they just ignore this kind of thing until they can offer a paid tethering service? (if ever) I realize i have “unlimited” data usage on my plan but this concern still surfaced.
Read or Add Answers...I just recently downloaded MyWi from cydia. Whenever I try to turn on WiFi Tethering, It says “MiWi was not able to enable. Rebooting may help MyWi re-enable. Would you like to reboot your iPhone now?” How do I get MyWi to work?
Read or Add Answers...I am thinking of getting a new phone, and strongly considering the new iPhone just announced today. It will have “tethering” capabilities. Does that mean that if I get internet service on that iPhone I could actually use it at home connected to my MacBook and then cancel my Time Warner Road Runner service? So, my phone with it’s internet service is my new at home internet service provier?? Is that what tethering does for me?
