I've been looking at this Blackberry and with Telus' new $40/m Clear Choice plan, it's looking pretty good. I also have a $40 giftcard for futureshop so why not get a new phone? My biggest concern is texting. I'm not a heavy texter, but I do send a decent amount (about 700 a month) and I was wondering if it's comparable to the iPhone's/iPod Touche's text input. Any other comments / reviews would be appreciated?

Sometimes my screen will work perfect. Sometimes it'll work but very faulty! I will click an o and the s will get pressed....and sometimes it doesn't work at all until I click the standby button and go back to the springboard.
I've tried restoring it and I've tried powering off. Could it be that the digitizer needs to be replaced? Or that the phone itself is faulty? Also, I don't have a warranty anymore. It expired last year in July 11th so yeah.

My parents got my iPod sometime in December. I dropped it. There was a huge crack going through it, but the touch screen was working as good as usual. So, we took it to be repaired. They returned it and the bottom of the screen was unresponsive so we took it back. The top half was unresponsive when they returned it. We took it back yet again. They kept it over the weekend to look at it. They installed another screen which didn't work. They said it was an internal fault caused by apple and that it should be under warranty due to them touching only the external. So I requested online service and explained the story without the fact it was perfect response when I dropped it and I am now awaiting packaging to send it off. Apples warranty state that they charge us if it's not their fault. So. What do you think caused the screen to break?
What will apple do?
If they reject my iPod touch, can we make the repair shop pay for the repair and rejection fee? Please help, I am really annoyed with all this.

Don't tell me to buy a new one because it's a 32gb. Worth £220. And if you read carefully then you will realise that when I dropped it, it still worked perfectly all over the screen.

my mom is taking away my blackberry because it costs $30 a month and she doesnt want to pay that money. i offered to pay for the $30 myself but she refused and told me that the $30 should be spent else where.
so now i have to pick a phone from verizon..
btw im 16.. so texting is necessary. lmao. all the "good" phones from verizon now require a $10 data plan which sucks.
but kind of phone is good? i had the voyager which is similar to the env touch. but i didnt like the touch screen because it wasnt like the iphone or the BB Storm where you couldnt use it if you had gloves but i like that because you couldnt dial people by accident if you stuck your phone in your bag. so far im looking at the chocolate touch and the samsung rouge
are the touch screens finger touch or can you like use them even with gloves on? and if you have those phones do you like it? would you recommend it? thanks!

It dropped off a desk and the screen, which was already cracked, is now a paraplegic. If I double-tap the home button I can turn on the music and if I hold the sleep button I can slide it off. I touched the volume control from double tapping the home button and dragged my finger down while still "holding" the volume control to see how much of the screen worked... it goes about 2/3 of the way down before becoming unresponsive. I've tried resetting and restoring and all the regular stuff, WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS: If I replace the screen by buying one online (my cousin did this just a week ago to replace her cracked screen) will that also restore its touch functionality? Or do I need to wait for stem cell research to make a difference... :(

Which is the best touchscreen phone with wifi capability for AT&T (or any other quad band unlocked) next to Apple iPhone? I guess no touch screen could match iPhone's touchscreen sensitivity. was wondering which would be the closest.

I have a Jailbroken Ipod Touch 3g with 3.1.2. Today i noticed that when i move my finger to the bottom of the ipod screen this little yellow bar comes and highlights the text and if touched a few times the ipod goes into safe mode, this is annoying and i have no idea how it happened and i have never seen it before. If anyone knows how to remove it help please.
