I have an iphone 4 ios 5.1.1 and it is supposedly jailbroken because cydia is installed, unfortunately i cant install winterboard, sbsettings, fake carrier, a lot of other things i really want because i cant get mobile substrate … i have tried to use itunes to restore 5.1.1 on my iphone but it always comes up with an error … is there a way around that?
Read or Add Answers...I was downloading a game she wanted and when the game was finalizing her iphone went black and the apple icon was on. I tired to turn off her phone but it just showed the black screen with the apple icon and had a loading sign but it was frozen. So I just let it charge and hoping this morning it would be back to normal but it didn’t it showed the black screen with the apple icon again. What should I do is there any way to fix it?
Read or Add Answers...I had recently received an iPhone 4, and deciding to JailBreak it. Later to follow, I realize some apps, including a cracked app I believe, simply crash after being opened. Which might infect all my other JailBroken apps, including Cydia.
I tried syncing my iPhone to a car, trying to test listening to music, and it caused the same issue. Is this normal? I’ve already had to restore my iPhone three times in the past week… I’m obviously new to this. 
In most cases, that’s it, I delete it, life goes on. However, some apps “infect” other apps, and cause them to crash to. Then I need to restore my entire iPhone. It’s unfortunate, but it feels like it happens way to frequently for me.

(My brightness is all the way down, notifications are off, auto-lock is on 1 minute, location services are off, ect. Basically i’ve done everything which should help the battery loose less battery)

My dad bought me an Iphone 3gs for christmas. He bought it off ebay, unlocked and it is jailbroken. I was wonder if there is a safe way to unjailbrake it. It has cydia on it uhh and yay Thanks for anyone who can help me.
Read or Add Answers...upgrading from the iphone 3. I backup the iphone3 with no problem. I also see the apps displayed under the phone after I back them up. When I plug in the iphone 5 and restore from backup; it restores everything except the apps.
Is there a way to fix it?
Both the phone software and itunes are up to date.
I accidentally deleted the app from my iPhone, and when I tried to redownload it from the App Store the app said I couldn’t install it because I don’t have iOs 5! Since when do I need that for Snapchat?! I’ve had it before without that. An I downloading it wrong, is there any way I can get it back?? Thank you!

So I just got a new iPhone 5, and my old iPhone 4 now belongs to my dad. The thing is,I don’t want music, apps or pretty much anything mixing together. What is the SIMPLEST way to do this? Would I have to create a new iTunes account for my father?
If you sign in with a diferent account, would your library still be the same? I also have another laptop? Should I use that? Or would i need a different account anyway?

I’ve even ran over the iPhone 5 with a car. I want to make one last thrilling iPhone destruction video but I am trying to think of a realistic idea. What’s something that YOU would want to see?
