How do I jailbreak my iPhone 3GS? Blackra1n doesn’t work and Purplera1n will not download…?
Jailbroke both my iPhone 3G as well as my wife's 3G using Blackra1n. We both recently upgraded to iPhone 3GS'. Blackra1n works until we try to download Cydia. The phone then restarts and says we need to hook it up to iTunes and restore it. Tried the Purplera1n website. Wouldn't let us download the link. And now today I went back to Purplera1n.com and now it says, "use blackra1n instead". Can anyone help me? Read or Add Answers...How can i tell if I have the 3g of if i have the3gs iPhone?
I got an iPhone from my wife but she did not know if it was a 3g or the 3gs the ownerr was not shure eather Read or Add Answers...Is there a picture block on the iPhone?
I'm going to ignore all negative comments cos this is a bad situation, but I'm intrigued. I'm trying to send pictures to my friend, he has an iPhone. But he's only getting "harmless" ones, and not the kind I want to send. Is there a way someone say..his wife could've potentially blocked certain picture content? Hi I have a 8gb 3G Iphone. I bought it to give to my wife for Christmas. It is locked to the O2 network. I am living in Cyprus and need to unlock it. About a month ago, I unlocked my 3GS iphone with Blackra1n and it all went very smoothly and I now have an unlocked iphone. However, I’ve tried many times with this 3G iphone and after running blackra1n, I install Cydia and Snow, it all looks fine, until I put the Cyprus sim card in. I then get the recovery screen come up and it says “different sim detected. Please connect to itunes” which of course doesn’t solve the problem. The strange thing is, it seems to be picking up the Cyprus network on the top left hand corner, but it stays on the recovery screen and is unable to make or receive calls. I’ve tried rebooting several times. I’ve restored, updated the latest software from itunes. I’ve checked everywhere on the internet but I can’t seem to get any further. I’m now desperate as it looks like my wife will not be getting a Christmas present and heaven help me. I’d appreciate any help with this matter. Thank you. How can I explain to my wife that a touch screen phone can be as reliable as regular push button cell phones?
I don’t know the specifics, but know that touch screen technology, i.e. my Iphone is as reliable as push button. My wife is convinced that if she were to break down there is a bigger chance of a touch screen not working than a push key cell phone. I looked up reliability and found that an iphone is twice as good projected this year on reliability as Blackberry, not to say AT&T is great because there are issues there. The study I saw just accounted for phone malfunctions. We just signed up for AT&T because I wanted a Mac product. My wife ended up with a Karma which is a nice phone, but was the same price if she’s gotten an iphone $100.00 after 2 year agreement which is some BS because Best Buy had them for free and AT&T wouldn’t price match. To me the only reason to think a push key is better is my lack of technological knowledge to explain that a keypad can go out as easy as a touch screen. Anyone have insight into that one. Thanks.
How good is the use ability of the Sony PSP 3000 in regards to internet browsing?
My wife just got a ipod touch, so naturally I’m jealous. I want to get the Sony PSP because of the size of the screen (it’s bigger than the ipod touch), but I need to find out if the web browsing capabilities are just as good as the iphone & ipod touch. What’s the word? Is the PSP web browsing capability as good, or not?
