The wifi on my iTouch is not working. Please help?

I've tried those weird codes, I've tried resetting the router, and the network settings on my iTouch. I've tried disconnecting the wifi on my laptop, and I know for a fact the password is correct, but it still says "Unable to join the network". It's free, so that's not the problem. Someone help, please?!
