why does my ipod touch need to restore when I turn it off?

why does my ipod touch need to restore when I turn it off? its jail broken and its version 3.1.2. Same as my sisters hers is jail-broken as-well. But hers does not need to restore when turned off but mine does? does any one know the solution to this? oh and it has been jail broken with blackra1in
