Windows and Itunes wont recognize my iphone?

my phone was dying and I went to charge it but my computer wont recognize my iphone. then i tried the wall charger still wont work. This morning before I left for work i charged my phone and it was fine. I didnt drop it or bang it but now it suddenly stopped working. Not only that it doesnt want to charge but the speakerphone doesnt work either. I went to some iphone online forum and they say that I might have to restore my iphone (btw my phone was jailbroken) cz when I was at work i downloaded an app. So is it just software issue why does my phone doesnt want to charge and speakerphone wont work? or maybe some loose wires? SUMMARY:
My phone is jailbroken, i charged it and I downloaded 2 apps in the morning. At night before i was going to bed i tried to charge it but doesnt work. Windows and Itunes wont recognize my iphone. HELP!!!!
